b. Address the diverse needs of all learners by using learner-centered strategies providing equitable access to appropriate digital tools and resources
c. Promote and model digital etiquette and responsible social interactions related to the use of technology and information
d. Develop and model cultural understanding and global awareness by engaging with colleagues and students of other cultures using digital age communication and collaboration tools
Reflection:
The teacher has the responsibility to educate students on the proper use of the Internet. A great tool to promote digital etiquette would be the use of a class blog. A blog is a place for people to communicate. Sometimes it is possible that communication could become inappropriate. By monitoring the blog, the teacher can observe all student communications and if any of them cross a line, he or she can quickly get control of the situation by addressing the issue. All of the students can learn from each other on how to properly communicate with the aid of the teacher. If students are working together to create a Google Slide presentation, it would be very easy for them to cut and paste from a source and illegally use text or an image. By using this technology, the teacher would have the opportunity to correct any of these blunders and use it as a teachable moment. There are many different types of learners and it is vital that they teacher appeal to them all. Tools such as podcasts, videos, Thinglink, and Scoop.it will provide information but in different formats. Each of the formats appeals to different learning styles.

Future Learning Goals:
It is easy for a teacher to overlook the importance of teaching students how to be responsible digital citizens. I know that I get so caught up in what I am teaching, I neglect the fact that it is my duty to inform students on how to correctly make use of the Internet and digital tools. It is very easy for students to misuse the Internet and never be educated on what they have done wrong. From this point on, I will make sure that each time I incorporate a technology, I will teach the students how to appropriately use it. One of the best ways to do this is to model responsible use. I know that students will appreciate my efforts to provide them with multiple means of acquiring course content by using tools such as podcasts, videos and other digital tools.
