a. Demonstrate fluency in technology systems and the transfer of current knowledge to new technologies and situations
b. Collaborate with students, peers, parents, and community members using digital tools and resources to support student success
c. Communicate relevant information and ideas effectively to students, parents, and peers using a variety of digital age media and formats
d. Model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning
Reflection:
There are many ways for a teacher to meet this standard. The most important thing for parents and students to know is what is going on in the classroom. A way to facilitate this is to provide a lesson plan. By providing a lesson plan there is no question about what is to be covered and expected in class. Attaching the lesson plan to the website is an ideal way to share this important document. Another way for the teacher to demonstrate technology fluency is to provide an online forum to encourage communication. This electronic method of reaching out will allow parents, students, and peers to play an interactive role in the course. Another great tool to communicate information in a creative way is the use of Thinglink. Thinglink allows the teacher to provide an interactive method of obtaining information on the content of the course. Although it has been mentioned before, Google Docs is an invaluable tool in meeting this standard as well. By giving students the opportunity to digitally contribute to a course project demonstrates the teacher's willingness to employ digital tools.

Future Learning Goals:
Google Drive provides so many avenues for collaboration. Not only can students collaborate with each other and the teacher, but teachers can collaborate with other teachers. I will use the apps provided in Google Drive to work with my peers. Google Docs would be an ideal way for teachers to work on creating lesson plans without having to physically meet; there have been so many instances that I have tried to work with other teachers, but there was never a time that was convenient for everyone. I will experiment with Thinglink in my class because it is such a unique way to present information in many different forms. Providing a forum for students, parents, and peers will ensure that the learning goals are clear and give everyone the opportunity to contribute their own ideas.
